What type of activities does your organization implement in Protection sector?
MR started working on protection recently and started providing protection monitoring, PSS, Case management for children and women, CBPN activities, and providing emergency cash assistance to families in need to protection aids. We are planning to open provide legal counselling to those in need to.
In emergency cash assistance activities, Mona Relief supported during 2019-2022 more than 967 widows approximately 6769 individuals in Amanat al-Asimah and Aden, Dhamar, and Hodiedah governorates.
Mona Relief has been supporting 7 HHs in Sana’a, Taiz, Hodeidah, Hajjah and Dhamar with cash assistance monthly since 2019. Some of those targeted families need to buy diapers for children who they are intellectual disability or disabled.
Psychosocial support for Children, psychosocial support, and legal awareness and counseling activities were conducted by Mona Relief CCCM team in Dhahban and al-Khamis IDPs hosting sites during 2022.
